Playing with a Canon 85mm L f/1.2 Lens

So over the Thanksgiving break i got my hands on a Canon 85mm L f/1.2 lens. All i can say is that it was an amazing lens and i wanted to run away with it. The lens was fast, quiet, super sharp and a chick magnet! well scratch the last part but everything else was spot on.

Canon 580 Ex ii Flash

I just got a Canon 580 EX II for my birthday thanks to Sharon and John. Here is the first test shot that i did with the flash. The 580EX II mounted on my 40D with my previous 430EX on the top left for a little back lite being fired off wireless. I love this new flash compared to my 430EX the auto white balance is better, the hose mount is so much better since i do not need to spin the knob onto my camera which i always dreaded and the best part is the quick recycle time.
